He's not my grandson, he doesn’t resemble Mohbad" – Late singer Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, addresses claims about Wunmi's child, Liam

 

Joseph Aloba, the father of late singer, Ileri Aloba aka Mohbad, has again expressed doubt that Liam, the child Mohbad left behind is indeed his grandson. 

In a fresh interview with Silverbird TV, Aloba said he has not had any access to Liam since his son's passing in September 2023. 

When asked if he has made any effort to see Liam, Mr Aloba said;

        ‘’As a father, they know where I am living. They are supposed to come to me. They are supposed to bring that child to me and say this is your grandson. I demanded a DNA. They are supposed to say 'Daddy, go and do it at your convenience time' but they have been hiding it. This has now become a public issue. Let the court anything about the DNA and then I will know what to do''

When he was asked if he thinks Liam is his grandson, Mr Aloba said;

‘’Let the court make the final say concerning that''

When asked if Liam bears any resemblance to Mohbad, Mr Aloba said;

No…with what I am seeing''

‘’So he is not your grandson?' the reporter asked him and he responded ‘’He is not''

He said if the DNA result comes out and confirms that Liam is his grandson, then he will accept the young boy as his grandchild.
