NiDCOM rescues 17 trafficked Nigerian women in Ghana

 

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has announced the rescue and repatriation of 17 Nigerian women trafficked to Ghana. In an operation conducted in collaboration with the Ghanaian Anti-Human Trafficking Police, Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation (NIDO) Ghana, and the Nigerian High Commission in Accra, five suspects were arrested, according to Abdur-Rahman Balogun, NiDCOM spokesperson.

The Head of Financial Crime Compliance at Binance, Tigran Gambaryan, has departed Nigeria days after the Federal government dropped money laundering charges against him.  


The world’s biggest cryptocurrency exchange made the disclosure pf his departure from Nigeria in a statement released on Thursday, October 24.

The Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Lawal Pedro (SAN), announced on Monday, October 21, that the toxicology report and other forensic analyses conducted in the United States on the late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, have been received.

Father flees after ‘brutalising’ own children

 

The police in Lagos are looking for a 48-year old man, Kadiri Yusuf alias Alado, for allegedly brutalising two of his children in the Orile Agege area of Lagos. 


The suspect is alleged to have inflicted grievous bodily injuries on his two children, aged 11 and 13 years.
